A New Year

With Dance in Our Hearts

Danscompany’s 2009 – 2010 dance year has come to an end.  It’s been a busy year.  Michael Jackson’s Thriller was performed at a variety of venues during the month of October.  The timeless and beautiful Cinderella took to the stage at the Phillips Center for Performing Arts in December.  And in March, it was the toe tapping, head bobbing performance of The Wiz, also at the Phillips Center.  All levels of Danscompany members also performed at festivals all over Gainesville throughout the year. All these performances made for a wonderful dance year for our dancers, families, and the community.

As this dance year comes to an end, we have one of the largest groups of graduating seniors in Danscompany history.
